You thought Richmond Center was our lowest point? Well, you're wrong cuz the piglets are bringing you to Landsdowne Mall, the world's saddest mall. And why are we here? Ms. Piglet's sister said there was a brand new cafe that was just opened by the Top Gun Restaurant Group and it was different. What does different mean? This is what it means.
A restaurant based on Rhinos?? Somebody smoked WAY too much of the good stuff.
It's a new place and the service was good but it's still going through some growing pains so I might have to report back later on about the food but the piglets had to tell you about this.
The Saddam Pork Chop. Yeah, you read that right. The Saddam Pork Chop. And what praytell is a Saddam Pork Chop?
Two pork chops smothered/drowned in tomato sauce, topped with a piece of ham and an egg with a side of egg white scallop fried rice. It also came with a side dish of steamed veggies topped with a yellow curry sauce. Mr. Piglet said it was ok, an average dish for a HK cafe but just kind of ridiculous. If it were alphabet soup, it'd spell "WTF".
Crushed ice. Oh how I love crushed ice. Iced Coffee and Lemon Tea to wash down our ridiculous meal.
