Tucked away into the Continental Plaza is this nondescript little bakery that's lost between the various big-hitter restaurants and supermarkets. It has the regular offerings such as pineapple buns, BBQ pork buns, cocktail buns, etc but also some originals such as sugar and butter, green tea cakes and rice wraps. Buy 6 and you save the GST. However, the Piglets are not here to talk to you about buns. We're here to talk to you about this:
Garlic-flavored Chips - $4.25
This stuff is ADDICTIVE. Ms. Piglet's evil coworker (code name Papa Panda) offered a handful and that was it. HOOKED. And since then, others have been allured by its garlicky goodness. A box of these never last more than a day and it's a small office.
Crunchy chip covered in garlic salt with a few black sesame seeds to add that nice toasty-flavor dimension. A bowl of these with some beers on a nice summer day = 0% rioting during the Stanley Cup Finals. I'm serious.
Pros:
Free parking
Cheap buns - buy more than 6 for a deal
Lots of flavors and varieties of baked goods/food items available
Cons:
Cash only
No service - basically a girl texting behind the counter
Smells great, moist cakes, blah, blah, blah JUST TRY THE CHIPS!
