Gaia Veggie Shop - Hong Kong

Gaia Veggie Shop

I'm not a vegetarian and I love meat, bacon especially, but Gaia gave me a pork chop that I'll never forget. I'm telling you, the swine is divine, but I still think of think of this pork chop today. It was crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside - real pork chops should hang their heads in shame. That was not the only thing that was surprising from a vegetarian restaurant. We also had pepperoni pizza, salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, roasted duck, chicken fried noodle, pineapple fried rice and a crab roll and they were all fabulous and they were all MEAT FREE! My mind exploded. The taste and texture were both quite close to, and sometimes even better than, the real thing and I wasn't as disgusted with myself as I usually am after eating so much food. I won't become a vegetarian anytime soon but Gaia has shown me that it's not all salad and beans.
