This place has taken off since I first walked into their one location atop a complex in Richmond. They now have 2 locations in Richmond, the original on Alexandra and the other in the Continental Centre. And why is it so popular? Excellent soup noodles at a good price. You walk in, they seat you with a piece of paper and you tick off what you want. No bells, no whistles here. And what do they serve? A variety of soups, a variety of noodles with a variety of toppings. First is your soup base from fish based to a spicy szechuan variety. Then comes the noodles and you can choose from udon to Korean style sweet potato crystal noodles. Last is the toppings, from beef, beef tongue, fish cake and all the way to assorted veggies. They boast to have Vancouver's best fish soup but I think they carry off a good noodle soup on a variety of flavors. My favorite? The Malay Laksa with udon, enoki mushrooms and cuttlefish balls. My fellow piggy prefers the instant noodle in peanut soup with fish cake slices and cuttlefish balls. *sigh* Flaws can be found in every piggy I suppose... Oh, and they also serve a variety of HK cafe style dishes but do try the noodles as it's what they do best.
See that bowl? It only cost $8 and it came with a drink. Suck it McDicks.
